The building was purchased by Vectis and their Swedish partners for re-development of the upper parts.
The existing 2-bedroom flat over two floors was in a poor state of repair. Having received planning consent the
rear part over the flat roof of Gails was incorporated with the existing building to create 2 x 2-bedroom lateral apartments with the upper unit extending into the roof space.
Gails below remained in situ and the freeholder assisted the tenant in reconfiguring the unit in conjunction
with them taking a new lease.
